Our Name, Our Story
Our logo is an imagining of the Protea flower, symbolising Transformation, Courage and Diversity. With over 1,400 species, Protea represents beauty in uniqueness and the courage to evolve.
Inspired by the Hindu goddess of the same name, Laxmi is derived from Sanskrit roots for knowing the goal and understanding the objective. She is often represented with four arms symbolising the pursuit of an ethical and moral life, emotional fulfilment, wealth in all its forms and liberation through self-knowledge.

Meet Lead Coach Emma Walker
I’m Emma Walker, a leadership coach, neurodiversity advocate and founder of Protea Laxmi Consulting Ltd.
My journey has been shaped by lived experience, deep reflection and a passion for helping others grow. As a neurodivergent individual, I’ve learned that real success comes from embracing who you are and supporting others to do the same.
Success starts with people and people thrive when they’re connected to what truly matters to them. I help you lead with impact, communicate with clarity, and grow with purpose, so you can create positive change in your life, your work and your organisation.
During 15 years in corporate transformation, I realised coaching is a craft, not just a skill. I bring my whole self to this work: my creativity, curiosity and commitment to ethical, inclusive practice. My coaching is grounded in values-led growth, storytelling and the belief that every person has the resources within them to succeed.
Protea Laxmi is my way of helping others find their voice, to own their story and lead with impact. I’m here to walk alongside you, challenge gently and celebrate boldly as you take your next step forward.
